Who We Are

Our Shared Vision

We are a family of Christian believers with a rich history that is full of traditions, yet we are still current and up-to-date.  At this church, everyday people can experience real life with God and discover a vital, and possibly life-changing, faith in Jesus Christ.  Our amazingly strong and fruitful faith is put to the test every day as we live, work, and play while transforming the world in which we reside.

From Our Pastors...

Blessings and Greetings, Church Family!

Welcome to Wesley Grove United Methodist Church, one of the three churches that make up the South Damascus Charge!  Both of us are thrilled to be your pastors and your spiritual guides!

Our shared passions lie in joyful, music-filled worship; in mission projects, both local and further abroad; in teaching, both Biblical studies and Church history; and especially in making true disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

We love Bible Studies and believe that all of us are never too old for God to reach out and teach us a new lesson or two.  We hope you will join us for our next Bible Study.  We always have one happening at one or more of our three churches.

May the peace, love, and understanding of Our Lord and Savior rest upon all of you, today and always...

Our Mission at Wesley Grove

  • To create a respectful atmosphere of worship, support, and fellowship for all the People of God,
  • To accept all people exactly where they are in their faith journeys,
  • To provide the resources that inspire people to live out God's call in their personal lives, family lives, workplaces, communities, and in all the world,
  • To develop, train, and equip our church leaders to grow in their faith and discipleship and to lead ministries both within and outside the church,
  • To support people as they progress through their transformation experiences from solitude and brokenness to spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness,

   and

  • To spread the Good News of Jesus Christ within our community and the world while sharing God's Love with others for the purpose of making and nurturing new disciples of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior.  Amen.
